We very rarely make exceptions in selling items from any locality other than Mexico, but as some of you know, we have always carried the PreColumbian reproduction jewelry based on ancient artifacts from the Museo de Oro in Bogota. Some wonderful new pieces will be arriving in mid-June. These are finely made pieces of 24K gold plate over pewter; prized for their unique elegance and durability. Pittsburghers who knew and admired the paintings of the late Dr. Eduardo Lozano will be happy to know that we are taking requests for the book Lozano, in preparation for a special order with the publisher in Argentina. This coffee table-worthy volume, conceived and edited by Iván Vásquez, features many beautiful color plates of Dr. Lozano's work and will retail for $40. We would like to have all requests in by the end of July so that we can place our order by the beginning of August. Email Lisa if you are interested in being placed on the list. Although we aren't requesting any deposits, please do be certain that you definitely want the book before requesting it. A copy of it is available for viewing in the store and if you would like to see it beforehand, please feel free to drop in!
